Since graduating from the University of Sydney in 2007, Martyn worked at Prince of Wales Hospital
before joining Active Physiotherapy Newtown.
Over a prolonged period, Martyn has had a long involvement with various sports at a very high level.
He represented Trinity Grammar School in 1st XI football and 1st IV tennis. He is heavily involved in
surf lifesaving, currently representing North Bondi SLSC in surfboat rowing, in which he has competed
at a National level for the past five years. He enjoys surfing, and competing in football, touch football,
and surf lifesaving.
He has also enjoyed being an accomplished singing career, including numerous soloist performances
at the Sydney Opera House. Martyn has completed postgraduate cerftifications in Sports Physiotherapy
as well as thoracic, rib and pelvis certifications. Martyn is keen on integrating treatment options in order
to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients.
Martyn is currently a physiotherapist for the Sydney Cricket Club.He is an active patrolling surf lifesaver
at North Bondi SLSC, where he is involved in training young lifesavers in the Bronze medallion.
