After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1997, Jane has worked in Physiotherapy both in Sydney and the UK. Over the years, she has accrued a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Manual Therapy from Curtin University, Polestar Pilates International Instructor Certificate, Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates accreditation, as well as many special interest post graduate course qualifications. Jane has taught manual therapy techniques of the Pelvis, Lumbar, Thoracic, Cervical and Ribs throughout the UK, Finland as well as assisting courses run here in Australia since her return.
Jane has developed an interest in manual therapy, with specific interest in spinal treatment and biomechanical analysis of functional movement, in all populations from sedentary workers to elite athletes. She also specialises in treating lower back and pelvic related dysfunctions in pregnant and post partum clients.
A past history of dancing has helped Jane to specialise in dance therapy, from acute injuries to chonic overuse rehabilitation in all dancing populations, from classical ballet to breakdancers both here and in the UK. Jane is currently the physiotherapist for “So You Think You Can Dance” – the hit TV program on Channel 10.
Jane thoroughly enjoys the progression of manual therapy through to exercise prescription and functional rehabiliation, with patient specific treatment and exercise programs.
