Catrina graduated from Newcastle University in 2012, receiving the APA research foundation prize for her Honours thesis into attentional focus in motor learning. She is fascinated with the human body and how a thorough understanding of it can yield simple solutions that truly address the root cause of patient’s symptoms.
Catrina strives to work with clients towards a mutual understanding of their problem, aiming to empower patients to take control of their health. She has worked across a variety of private practice as well as hospital settings, being fortunate to meet and learn from many passionate and highly skilled physiotherapists and from patients from all walks of life. Catrina has a particular interest in women’s issues and has experience treating women in the pre- and postnatal period, as well as addressing pelvic floor dysfunction. Catrina loves the outdoors and finding new ways to explore – be it hiking, cycling, canyoning, snorkeling or climbing.
